Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
"These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me." Colossians 4:11b
The point in the above verse is that they were working unto the Kingdom of God. The word "unto" may be a little unfamiliar to us today, but Webster's 1828 Dictionary states that it "denotes passing, moving towards." Is that the condition of the church today? No, regrettably it is not.
We have been conned into this idea that only "saving souls matters." Yet, the Bible contains much more. It is estimated that 71% of the Bible is governmental and 29% personal. Did not Paul himself by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit tell us that in Romans 3:31 that faith does not make void the law. More so, he also states that it establishes the law!
We have been duped into a faith today that says that the church and Christians should stay out of matters not dealing with personal salvation. We sing the hymn Faith of our Fathers, yet, our faith is radically different than theirs. What about the Puritans and the Christian Patriots and clergymen of the 1700's? They were very much dedicated to establishing a Christian nation. Concerning the ministry of Paul we are told in Acts 28:31 that he preached the kingdom of God and those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ.
Characteristic: Kingdom Builders is not a corporation, club, foundation, etc. It is a ministry of Union Christian Church in alliance with other like-minded Christians who are or want to be active in changing our society for Christ. Participation is not limited to members of Union Christian Church. This is a coalition of Christians of many different denominations who see the need to stop the moral plunge as America sinks further into liberalism. Each Kingdom Builders group is under the direction of its local church. Kingdom Builders of Union Christian Church is under the direction of the pastors of Union Christian Church. Its purpose is to establish God's Laws and principles of civil government and morality.
Commission: To organize
local Christians into an effective force to return our society back to
Return to the Bible as our final authority for faith and
Repentance, prayer, and
The first and foremost key to building a nation under God is
repentance. We must have the understanding that something is wrong.
Unless we know that we are outside the will of God and following sinful
ways we will never repent. If we do not acknowledge that something is
wrong and God's way is right we will never get to the second key. The
second key is knowledge. We must have the knowledge of what is wrong and
what is right. That only comes from the Word of God. So therefore, we
must search the Scriptures and study them to have a Biblical knowledge
of how government and society should function. Third is active
participation. Once a person has turned from the ways of the world to
the ways of God, gained the knowledge of God's will for every part of
our lives and our nation, then they must become active agents of change.
What good is repentance and knowledge if it does not produce any fruit.
Such is the case of the church's conversions. What good has it been to
convert millions of people to believe in Jesus Christ if it does not
make our society more Godly. Conversion alone is not going to turn this
country back to one nation under God. We must not only seek a persons
forgiveness of sins but also that they go and sin no more. This has been
one of the major failures of the modern church.
Obscenity, abortion, sex education, homosexuality, corrupt
politicians, tyranny, gun control, socialism, atheism, multiculturalism,
and false religions (Judaism, Islam, etc.) are just some of the issues
that we seek to make a change in our county. Our weapons are prayer,
fasting, knowledge, boycotts, petitions, Biblical legislation, rallies,
and Biblically qualified leadership.
Essentially, our purpose is to return America back to being ruled
by the God of the Bible therefore the establishment of the Law of God.
